HEIR
[Visual Identity, Website and Packaging Design]
Makeup packaging today will outlive us by centuries. Long after we are gone, our objects will remain buried, preserved, and discovered.
HEIR begins with a question:
If a lipstick were found 450 years from now, what would it say about us?
In an industry built on impermanence, excess, and insecurity,
HEIR designs for longevity and reflection.

HEIR is built with the patience of something meant to be unearthed, not discarded. Guided by a sustainable mindset and expressed through clean, contemporary design, every detail resists trend-churn and embraces permanence. The result is an identity that feels as considered as an artifact: quietly confident, materially conscious, and designed not just for now, but for whatever comes after us.
the productThe global cosmetics industry produces over 120 billion units of packaging annually, using roughly over 20 billion gallons of water. How do we create an environmentally friendly product that will grab the attention of consumers? HEIR designed a dual-ended makeup product to reflect real usage patterns, extend product life, and reduce plastic waste.
packagingThe color palette was derived from fruit, capturing its natural depth and saturation. Shades were sampled from the skin and pulp, translating organic tones into a refined visual language.
This approach creates a contrast between the product and shades, using color to evoke freshness, richness, and authenticity.
digital presence (web and social media)I translated the visual language into multiple digital outputs that balance HEIR’s refined identity, with imagery and bolder typographic moves to grab the viewer’s attention.
